Dear Marvin,
I am very pleased to tell you that the ITPA Board of Directors voted to present its Lifetime Achievement Award to you in the year 2000.
This Award is made in recognition of an individual's contributions to the industry and support of ITPA. At the recent Annual Meeting, Leo Spiwak was honored. In previous years, Don Chudacoff; Alvin Davidson; Edward Goldberg; Alvin Levine; Goody Liber; and Kurt Michel have been recognized.
We would like to present the Award to you in person at either the Spring Meeting, Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15, in Chicago at the Drake hotel or Saturday, October 14, at the Annual Meeting in Palm Springs, CA at Rancho Las Palmas. Of course, it is not necessary to appear in person. Lex could serve as an able proxy should that be your preference.
We trust you will accept this Award with the gratitude of ITPA for the years you, your sons, and your company have devoted to the improvement of the industry and this organization.
