The International Truck Parts Association Awards Lifetime Achievement Award, for the Year 2000, to the Founder of Trucks & Parts of Tampa
Tampa, Florida - The International Truck Parts Association, Inc. announced on November 4, 1999 that Marvin Goldenberg, founder of Trucks & Parts of Tampa, was selected to receive the Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for the Year 2000.
The award is made in recognition of an individual's contributions to the industry and support of the ITPA. The award will be presented at either the Spring meeting in Chicago or the annual meeting in Palm Springs, California.
Trucks & Parts of Tampa is America's largest online and retail dealer of used, reconditioned and new refuse vehicles, garbage trucks, roll offs and specialty vehicles aimed at the environmental technology and waste management industry. Trucks & Parts of Tampa celebrated their 50th anniversary in February of 2000. They have recently received letters of recognition from the Honorable Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush; City of Tampa Mayor, Dick A. Greco and other notables.
When interviewed, regarding the forthcoming 50th anniversary celebration, Mr Marvin Goldenberg indicated, "the pace of industry change is accelerating and our track record indicates that we are getting better rather than older."
