Daimler Trucks North America is recalling 769 of its Freightliner trucks because the instrument cluster and turn signals might not work properly.

The truck recall affects 2016-2017 Business Class M2, 108SD, and 114SD Freightliner models produced between March 5, 2015 and Aug. 15, 2016.

These trucks are equipped with left and right hand instrument clusters. Compatibility issues between the displays have resulted in the possibility that the instrument clusters and/or turn signals may not function. This situation increases the risk of a collision.

“If the ICU [Instrumentation Control Unit] becomes unresponsive the turn signals may not function and could lead to a vehicle crash,” the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

No crashes or injuries related to this defect have been reported.

The recall is expected to begin March 19.
