Quick Facts to Know: 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

December 19, 2018 by Chris Teague

The Hyundai Santa Fe is the Korean-based brand’s best-selling SUV in the United States. For the 2019 model year the Santa Fe lineup is being completely revamped. An all-new five-passenger crossover is assuming the Santa Fe name, while the former three-row Santa Fe will now be called the Santa Fe XL.

The smaller Santa Fe Sport that in 2018 slotted between the Hyundai Tucson SUV and the standard Santa Fe has been dropped for 2019. The new two-row, five-passenger Santa Fe could be viewed as the successor to the 2018 Santa Fe Sport.

An all-new three-row SUV larger than the current Santa Fe is also in the works. It will be launched with a new model name.
