The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV that competes with the Lincoln Navigator, BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.

The Escalade and its longer counterpart, the Escalade ESV, share much of their platform and engineering with the GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban. The 2019 model year is the Escalade’s fifth in its current generation, and updates include a new hands-free liftgate and new exterior colors. The Escalade’s suspension has also been updated to include magnetic ride control with driver-selectable modes. Even as Cadillac’s largest vehicle, weighing nearly 6,000 pounds, the Escalade’s 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower is able to help the large SUV achieve 0-60 mph times under the six-second mark.
