The trucks on this list may be smaller than their full-size counterparts, but the discounts offered on new models during February are quite large. The 2019 Ford Ranger, which went on sale last month, makes its first appearance in Ford’s monthly incentive offers.
Trucks.com compiled a list of deals that represent the best value for consumers. Incentives vary by region, so always check with a local dealership. And don’t be afraid to negotiate.
All the deals in this article are valid through at least Feb. 28, although some may be extended.
Deal: $2,000 purchase allowance
The GMC Canyon starts at just over $23,000 and can top $30,000 quickly. Both model years come in three box/cab configurations. Buyers can choose between 4×2 or 4×4 and three engines. GMC sells the Canyon in seven trims, including the off-road-ready All-Terrain grade, which comes with either cloth or leather seats.
Deal: $287 per month for 39 months with $3,482 due at signing
The Ranger XL is the midsize truck’s base model. It comes equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with auto start-stop technology paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 4×2 model comes equipped with entry-level features like cloth seats, an AM/FM radio, urethane steering wheel and halogen headlights. It also has some advanced features such as MyKey, Ford Pass Connect with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot and a USB port.

Deal: $314 per month for 36 months with $3,499 due at signing
The Nissan Frontier is long in its model run but continues to be popular among buyers. Its starting price, $18,990, is the lowest in the segment. Though it’s dated, the truck has had features added steadily to keep the truck competitive. Over the last few model years, Bluetooth, a rearview camera and 7-inch touch screen have been added as standard equipment.
This offer on the 2019 Nissan Frontier SV 4×4 with an automatic transmission, short wheelbase, Value Truck Package and floor mats has a 12,000-mile annual limit and expires Feb. 28.
Deal: $279 per month for 39 months with $3,979 due at signing
The 2019 GMC Canyon has a lot of pluses. It’s fuel-efficient, has a high towing capacity, and its cabin is downright plush in top trims. For 2019, GMC shuffled the Canyon’s trim-level offerings to better appeal to customers. The midgrade SLE trim in this offer comes standard with an 8-inch touch screen, six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, four USB ports and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
This offer on the 2019 GMC Canyon SLE with a short box and crew cab comes with a 32,500-mile limit and expires Feb. 28. It is only for current, eligible General Motors lessees.
Deal: $3,000 cash allowance
The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado is available in three box/cab configurations. Buyers can choose two- or four-wheel drive and one of three engines. It comes in Base, WT, LT, Z71 and Z72 trim levels, giving the option of a truck made for paved highways or tackling rough off-roading. New for the 2018 model year, the Colorado comes with Chevrolet’s Active Tow system.
Current General Motors vehicle owners are eligible to receive a $3,000 cash allowance on all models of the 2018 Colorado. The deal expires Feb. 28.
Deal: $0 down payment, no monthly payments for 90 days, 0% financing for 60 months
This is the best deal Nissan has offered on the Frontier in years. It’s a low-cost opportunity that allows buyers to save on monthly payments and not owe a down payment when they sign on the line. Nissan offers the 2018 Frontier in five trims: S, Desert Runner, SV, SL and PRO-4X. Buyers can get the truck with a manual transmission or a six-speed automatic.
The Frontier PRO-4X is the automaker’s most capable off-roader and can be made more luxe with the PRO-4X Luxury Package, which adds leather-appointed, power-adjustable seats, a moonroof, roof rack, heated outside mirrors and a rear fold-down center armrest.
