The 2019 Chevrolet Trax is a subcompact crossover that competes with the Honda HR-V, Jeep Renegade and Mazda CX-3. The Trax is Chevy’s smallest crossover and was first sold in 2013. A second-generation Trax is expected for the 2020 model year.

Trims

  • The 2019 Chevrolet Trax is available in three trims: LS, LT and Premier.
  • The top-of-the-line Premier trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome accent door handles, fog lamps and the Driver Confidence safety package.
  • All 2019 Trax crossovers come with a three-year/36,000-mile vehicle bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.
  • 16-inch steel wheels are standard on the LS trim; the LT comes with 16-inch aluminum wheels.
  • The LT trim is available in a Redline edition that comes with 18-inch, black-finish aluminum wheels with red accent stripes, black mirror caps and bowtie emblems and a black Trax badge outlined in red.

  • The 2019 Chevrolet Trax has a 100.6-inch wheelbase, a 167.2-inch overall length and a 69.9-inch width.

Powertrain

  • The only available engine in the 2019 Chevrolet Trax is a 138-horsepower turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder unit. The 1.4-liter engine produces 148 pound-feet of torque.

  • An auto-dimming rearview mirror, bright front sill plate, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a power sunroof are standard in the Premier trim.
  • Cloth seats are standard in the base model, with heated driver and front passenger seats with leatherette trim are standard in the Premier model.
  • A six-way power driver seat is standard on the Premier and an option on the LT.
