There’s nothing compact about the deals on midsize trucks this month. Automakers are offering 0 percent financing on some of the most popular pickups in the segment such as the Chevrolet Colorado and Nissan Frontier.
Trucks.com compiled a list of deals that represent the best value for consumers. Incentives vary by region, so check with a local dealership. And don’t be afraid to negotiate.
These deals are valid through at least April 1, although some may be extended.
Deal: 0 percent financing for 72 months plus $1,500 APR cash
The Chevrolet Colorado has a starting MSRP of $20,200 and can top out in the $50,000 range with options. It comes in five trims including the ZR2, the Colorado’s off-roading variant. As with other Chevy truck models, buyers can add an appearance package that swaps chrome accents for blacked-out wheels, badging and fascia elements.
This offer on the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado excludes the base model and expires April 1.
Deal: $279 per month for 39 months with $3,519 due at signing
For the 2019 model year, GMC shuffled its trim levels and features on the 2019 Canyon to entice buyers. The Canyon also features General Motor’s updated infotainment system. It maintains its impressive towing capacity, fuel-efficient engine and upscale cabin.
This offer on the 2019 GMC Canyon SLE with four-wheel drive, a crew cab and a short box expires April 1 and comes with a 32,500-mile limit.
Deal: $328 per month for 39 months with $3,887 due at signing
For only $41 more per month and $400 additional at signing, qualified lessees can bump up from the Ford Ranger XL to the midgrade XLT. The XLT trim adds fog lamps, a carbon black mesh grille with silver surround, power locking tailgate, front tow hooks, a 4.2-inch productivity screen (nearly double the size of the XL’s), blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, cruise control and lane-keeping technology.
This offer on the 2019 Ford Ranger XLT carries a 10,500-mile-per-year limit.
Deal: No down payment, no monthly payments for 90 days, 0 percent financing for 36 months plus $500 bonus cash
Nissan is offering a strong combination of incentives to woo buyers this month. Its aging Frontier has been continually updated over the last few years to keep up with the competition, and 2019 is no different. Now the Frontier comes standard with a 7-inch infotainment touch screen. The Frontier is one of the most inexpensive trucks on the market.
This offer on the 2019 Frontier expires April 1. To take full advantage of the deal, buyers must finance their purchase through NMAC.
Deal: $269 per month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing
Toyota didn’t give its perennially popular Tacoma any major changes for the 2019 model year, but it’s still a consumer favorite. It retains its classic looks, off-road capability, on-road poise and suite of standard safety features. This offer is on a Tacoma with a MSRP of $36,483 including destination charges. More inexpensive Tacomas are available, and buyers may be able to negotiate a lower-cost lease for a base or midgrade model. This deal expires April 1.
Deal: $319 per month for 36 months with $4,779 due at signing
Buyers seeking a truck that is equal parts work and play should consider the Chevrolet Colorado. Chevy is offering its midgrade Colorado LT for a low monthly rate without skimping on the packaging. Qualified lessees get a truck that adds body-color rear bumper, mirror caps and door handles, 17-inch aluminum wheels, an 8-inch touch screen, remote keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rearview camera and six-way power-adjustable driver seat to the features of the base model.
This offer on the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado LT expires April 1. Current lessees of select 2012 model year and newer GM vehicles pay just $3,279 at signing.
