The 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD is a full-size, one-ton pickup that competes with the Ford Super Duty F-350 and the RAM 3500. It is available only with a crew cab.
The GMC Sierra 3500HD doesn’t get any big updates for the 2019 model year. The Sierra 1500 was given a full redesign for 2019, and the 3500HD is expected to follow suit soon.

- The range-topping Denali trim includes 18-inch chrome aluminum wheels (17-inch polished aluminum wheels for dual rear wheel versions), an exclusive 8-inch customizable driver display and wireless phone charging.
- All models come with a three-year/36,000-mile vehicle limited warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.

- The size of the Sierra 3500HD depends on the size of the bed. With the standard box, it has a 153.7-inch wheelbase and a 239.5-inch overall length. With a long box, the wheelbase is 167.6 inches and the overall length is 258.3 inches. The overall width for all models is 80.5 inches.
POWERTRAIN
- The base engine in the 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD is a 6.0-liter V8 gas engine that produces 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. A Duramax 6.6-liter turbodiesel that produces 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque is available.
- No hybrid, plug-in hybrid or full-electric powertrains are available.
- Two-wheel and four-wheel drive are available.
- A Sierra All Terrain HD premium off-road package is offered on SLT four-wheel drive models. It features 18-inch chrome aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires and an off-road suspension.
- SLE and SLT models without the All Terrain package or dual rear wheels can also get the off-road suspension.
