Quick Facts to Know: 2018 Lincoln Navigator

The all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator brings a bold design, exclusive features and an innovative ownership experience to its battle for dominance in the full-size luxury SUV segment. It is Lincoln’s answer to big luxury SUVs such as the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover. It makes its case with a direct-injection turbocharged V6 engine and Black Label trim level.

  • The base 2018 Lincoln Navigator has a starting price of $73,850, including a $1,295 destination charge.
  • A heavily optioned 2018 Lincoln Navigator Black Label L version has a price of $103,685, including a $1,295 destination.
  • The base 2017 Lincoln Navigator had a starting price of $63,515, including a $1,195 destination charge.
  • The 2018 Navigator is available in Select, Reserve, Premiere and Black Label trims.
  • The Navigator is based on the same platform as the Ford F-150 full-size pickup truck and the Ford Expedition full-size SUV.
  • The aluminum-alloy body saves an estimated 200 pounds compared with an all-steel body.
  • The 2018 Navigator has a 122.5-inch wheelbase, 210.0-inch overall length and an 83.6-inch width with mirrors folded. The longer, roomier Navigator L has a 131.6-inch wheelbase, 221.9-inch overall length and an 83.6-inch width with mirrors folded.
  • The standard and single powertrain is a 450-horsepower 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with 10-speed automatic transmission.
  • Maximum towing capability is 8,700 pounds.
  • EPA fuel economy estimates for the base Navigator are 16 mpg city/23 mpg highway/19 mpg combined.
  • EPA fuel economy estimates for the Navigator L 4×4 are 16 mpg city/21 mpg highway/18 mpg combined.
  • No hybrid, plug-in hybrid or full electric powertrains are available.
  • The base Navigator is rear-drive. A four-wheel drive system is available as an option.
  • The engine has direct fuel injection and is turbocharged.
  • The optional Terrain Management System available with four-wheel drive offers seven drive modes to adapt automatically to different traction conditions. Drivers also can manually select either rear drive or four-wheel drive in a given mode.
  • Pro Trailer Backup Assist makes it easier for drivers to back up a trailer.
  • Navigator’s Active park assist system will not only automatically park the Navigator in appropriate spaces, it will also steer out of parallel parking spots.
  • The top-of-the-line Black Label versions offer the choice of three stylistic themes — Yacht Club, Destination and Chalet. Each theme has a different color palette and varying trim and graphics.
  • Black Label versions are accompanied by these services: maintenance plan, annual vehicle detailing, anytime car wash, remote service pickup and delivery and membership in a dining club.
  • Standard safety equipment includes three-point safety belts for all seating positions, electronic stability system, three-row safety canopy airbags, traction control, trailer sway control, post-crash alert system and rear-view camera system with washer.
  • The Technology package includes safety and driver-assist features, including active park assist, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, collision warning, auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, driver alert system, lane-keeping aid and lane-keeping alert, heads-up display and automatic high beams.
  • Navigator has four 12-volt power outlets, a 110-volt plug and six USB ports, including two in the third row that can keep charging devices for up to 75 minutes after the engine has been turned off.
  • The infotainment system is SYNC 3 with 10-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen. It offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. An available Wi-Fi hotspot supports as many as 10 devices up to 50 feet from the vehicle. An optional dual-headrest rear seat entertainment system allows passengers to watch live TV via SlingPlayer on either of two 10-inch video screens. SlingPlayer requires a Slingbox account.
  • Notable comfort and convenience features include second-row tip-and-slide seating, wireless charging, rear seat entertainment that can stream live cable or satellite television and hands-free foot-activated liftgate.
  • The driver and front passenger seats offer massage, heating and cooling and can be adjusted up to 30 different ways.
