Mitsubishi’s early read of shifting consumer tastes from passenger cars to crossovers and SUVs leads to a seventh straight year of rising sales.
The LA Auto Show is held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It begins with Automobility, two days of conferences and networking. Light truck releases from the 2017 show included the new Jeep Wrangler, Lexus RXL, Subaru Ascent, Volvo XC40 and a redesigned Lincoln MKC. The Hyundai Kona and Mitsubishi Eclipse crossovers and Toyota FT-AC concept also appeared, as well as a replacement for the Infiniti QX70. The BMW X7 Concept and Mercedes-Benz GLC Fuel Cell made their U.S. premiere, as well as debuts from GMC and Nissan.
